About

Brian is a licensed real estate advisor in South Carolina and Kentucky.  He currently lives in Lexington, Kentucky and has experienced the growth of Hilton Head Island since his family owned property in Palmetto Dunes in the 70's.  After graduating from Transylvania University, he earned his Master’s degree at Eastern Kentucky University.  

In the midst of a successful thirty year career as an NCAA college basketball and golf coach, Lane earned his real estate license in 2020 and joined his wife Andrea to form the Lane Group.  He joined Carson Realty in the summer of 2022.  Lane's coaching stops have included UNC Charlotte, South Carolina, North Carolina State, Florida Atlantic, Morehead State and Transylvania.  His 2012 & 2013 golf teams were NCAA Division III National Championship runner-ups while his men's basketball teams have competed in 5 NCAA Championships with an Elite 8 appearance in 2006. 

Lane is currently a member of the Hilton Head Area Realtors Association, South Carolina Association of Realtors, Bluegrass Realtors Association, Kentucky Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Outside of coaching and real estate, Brian currently sits on the Board of Directors for the First Tee of Greater Lexington and the Bluegrass Sports Commission.  He also served as co-chair of the Bluegrass Area Red Cross’ “Heroes Campaign”.  Brian's wife, Andrea, is a lifetime member of the "Top Producers Club" with The Brokerage Real Estate Advisors in Lexington and was inducted into the Transylvania Athletic Hall of Fame for her prowess on the tennis court.  The Lanes have three grown children, Lydia (Norwalk interior design), Harrison (SVN commercial real estate) and Henry (Lexus of Lexington).
